Report launch: An inquiry into the links between antibiotic resistance and inadequate water, sanitation and hygiene facilities in healthcare settings across the world’s least developed countries

The report, ‘Prevention first: why clean water and hygiene are the best medicine against the spread of drug-resistant infections’, will be launched in the House of Commons on Monday February 20, 2023.

It will reflect the findings of an inquiry into the links between antibiotic resistance and inadequate water, sanitation and hygiene facilities in healthcare settings across the world’s least developed countries.

The report, and the inquiry, were the result of a collaboration between the All-Party Parliamentary Groups on Antibiotics, and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH).
